Shipping policy

Pickup (Free) All items are available for free pickup from our San Rafael, CA location (15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge). After purchase, we'll contact you to schedule a pickup window.

Local Delivery We deliver throughout the Bay Area. Delivery rates vary by zip code and are shown at checkout. Deliveries are typically scheduled within 3-7 business days. We'll confirm a day and time window with you before delivery. Delivery is to the first accessible ground-floor entry (front door, lobby, garage). Please let us know about any stairs or tight spaces before you purchase. If your zip code isn't covered at checkout, reach out and we'll see what we can do.

Standard Shipping Smaller items (art, decor, small objects) can be shipped anywhere in the continental US. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on size and destination. Items are carefully packed and shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing, plus carrier transit time.

Large Furniture Most large furniture pieces are available for local pickup and delivery only. If you're interested in shipping a large piece nationally, contact us at hello@alcove-sf.com for a freight quote.

Damage in Transit If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos. We'll file a claim with the carrier and work with you on a resolution.
