About Us

Alcove SF is a vintage furniture and decor shop based in San Rafael, California. We source, clean, photograph, and resell vintage and antique furniture, art, and home goods.

Products

All items are vintage, antique, or previously owned unless explicitly stated otherwise. Each piece is unique. Colors may vary slightly from photos due to screen differences, lighting, and the nature of vintage materials. We describe condition as accurately as possible in every listing. Minor imperfections consistent with age and use are to be expected and are part of what makes each piece special. Dimensions listed are approximate and measured by hand. We recommend confirming critical measurements before purchasing.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Prices on our website are firm. Sales tax is collected where required by law.

Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirmation. This confirms that we've received your order, not that the item is guaranteed available. In rare cases where an item has sold through another channel before we can update our site, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

Pickup

Free pickup is available from our San Rafael warehouse. After purchase, we'll reach out to schedule a pickup window. Please bring appropriate help and a vehicle suited to the size of your item. We are not responsible for items once they leave our location.

Local Delivery

We offer delivery to San Francisco and the East Bay. Delivery fees and availability are shown at checkout based on your address. Delivery is typically scheduled within 3-7 business days of purchase. We'll contact you to confirm a delivery window. Someone must be present to receive the item. We deliver to the first dry, covered area (front door, lobby, garage). Stairs, narrow hallways, or other access challenges should be communicated before purchase. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee or decline delivery for complex access situations.

Shipping

For smaller items eligible for standard shipping, rates are calculated at checkout. Items are packed securely and shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Shipping times vary by destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or customs. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the item is handed off to the carrier.

Limitation of Liability

Alcove SF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.

All content on this site, including photos, descriptions, and branding, is the property of Alcove SF and may not be used without our written permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, Marin County.
