ELFRIEDE MILLER-HAUENFELS (1893–1962)

Elfriede Miller-Hauenfels was a prominent Austrian painter, graphic artist, and illustrator who trained at the Art School for Women and Girls in Vienna. She became highly regarded for her expressive printmaking techniques, particularly her masterful approach to woodcuts and etchings. Throughout her career, Miller-Hauenfels actively exhibited with the Association of Viennese Women's Art and the Vienna Secession, solidifying her historical significance within the Austrian modern art movement.
