Minimalist ink portrait by Oregon artist Amanda Snyder (1894-1980)

The artist often used bits of scrap or found paper to draw on. This particular piece was done on the back of a 1967 piece of mail. The faint visibility of the typed text showing through the paper perfectly captures it's spontaneous creation.
